HEVISAURUS- THE FINNISH DINOSAUR METAL BAND IS A HIT!

Scrolling through Blabbermouth this morning, this article definitely hit my eye. Hevisaurus, the metal band composed of dinosaurs, is a huge hit with Finnish children right now.

MORBID ANGEL IS IN THE STUDIO RECORDING A NEW ALBUM!

Morbid Angel have entered Mana Recording Studios with Erik Rutan to begin recording their ninth full-length album. This will be the band's first CD without longtime drummer Pedro "Pete" Sandoval, who recently underwent back surgery.

BEHEMOTH- THE MAKING OF "ALAS, THE LORD IS UPON ME" VIDEO

Behemoth just released a video for the making of the "Alas, The Lord Is Upon Me". The clip was produced and directed by Rafal Szermanowicz and Grupa 13, which previously helmed Behemoth's videos for "Ov Fire And The Void" and "At The Left Hand Ov God". PLAY SLAYER PINBALL ON THE IPAD AND IPHONE!

Stuart Dredge of Recombu.com reports that the developers of popular iPad pinball game Pinball HD have launched a reskinned version for SLAYER, with the full blessing of the band.

The game is 'inspired' by their new album, World Painted Blood, with several songs acting as the soundtrack. Singer Tom Araya also contributes a voiceover to the game, which is a Universal app - so is available for iPhone and iPad.

Okay, I never wanted an Iphone until now. Slayer Pinball sounds badass!

PAUL GRAY DIED OF ACCIDENTAL MORPHINE OVERDOSE

According to The Des Moines Register, Slipknot bass player Paul Gray died of an accidental overdose of morphine and fentanyl. Gray's body was discovered about 10:50 a.m. May 24 by a maintenance worker at TownePlace Suites in Urbandale, Iowa.

A hypodermic needle lay near the bed, and "all kinds of pills" surrounded Gray, who was hunched over in the corner of the room, according to a 911 call.

Polk County Medical Examiner Dr. Gregory Schmunk said today that it was two injected drugs — fentanyl is a synthetic form of morphine — that killed Gray. The pills did not contribute to his death, Schmunk said.

WATCH OZZY'S PERFORMANCE ON JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE!

Ozzy Osbourne was the musical guest on last night's (June 15th) episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live“. Ozzy performed the new single, "Let Me Hear You Scream", and his classic "Shot In The Dark". Ozzy sounds great, Gus G. rips on the guitar, and the rest of the band is as solid as ever. Check out the videos below and don't forget that Ozzy's new CD, "Scream", will be out next Tuesday!

Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, and Anthrax will play together for the first time in history tonight at the Sonisphere festival at Bemowo Airport in Warsaw, Poland. Check out the first photo of all the members of the four bands (minus SLAYER guitarist Jeff Hanneman) hanging out in a room together, apparently taken yesterday. This is just such a cool picture to see, and it's really great for metal music. A larger picture is below.

Scott Ian said: "People have been talking about these four bands playing together since 1984. That's twenty-six years of expectation!! BEHEMOTH IS TOURING IN NOVEMBER WITH WATAIN!

Nergal, the almighty lead singer of Behemoth, was recently interviewed by NME TV in Poland. During the interview, Nergal revealed that BEHEMOTH will embark on a U.S. tour in November with the awesome Watain. How sick of a tour will that be! More dates and info will be posted once its announced. He also talks about getting the text that said Metallica wants you to open the Big Four show and maybe more later. Behemoth and Metallica is the greatest bill I've ever heard of in my lifetime. I hope Behemoth is opening for Metallica on the next tour run, because that'd be nuts.
