For those of you who don't know about the band This Is Hell, its about time you pulled your head out of your asses and started to pay attention. They are the future of hardcore music and I will dive into that in a later piece where I lay out the Top 15 hardcore bands you should all know about if you think you know heavy music. This Is Hell are from Long Island, which is also where I happen to currently reside, and have put out a video for their song "Bloodlines" off of their latest record Weight of the World courtesy of Rise Records. These dudes are no joke and Weight of the World is one of my favorite records of the past summer and over the past year. Below is the video, enjoy it, and get into Long Island Hardcore. A new trailer for "Lemmy", the long-awaited documentary examining the life and career of Motorhead frontman Lemmy Kilmister, can be viewed below. "Lemmy" premiered in March 2010 during the South by Southwest at the historic Paramount Theatre in Austin, and I heard that the movie is just awesome. Honestly, anything that involves Lemmy must automatically be awesome. He's a legend of our time! 2010 marks the 35th anniversary of the birth of MOTÖRHEAD, which features Kilmister, guitarist Phil Campbell and drummer Mikkey Dee. So happy anniversary and keep rocking to the Motorhead guys!

THROWDOWN RELEASES TWO NEW VIDEOS IN ONE DAY!

Throwdown released two brand new videos for "Tombs" and "Blinding Light", and you can view the videos below (courtesy of Metalinjection). Commented vocalist Dave Peters: "'Tombs' and 'Blinding Light' are my two favorite songs on the record. 'Blinding Light' didn't initially have that creepy vibe that it took on later during production. Unfortunately, the vocal and guitar layers are what give it that vibe, and it's not real easy to reproduce live as a four-piece.

Imagine Hatebreed crushing the side stage at Mayhem Festival, and then imagine Lamb Of God's Randy Blythe walking out to join them.Randy joined them on "Doomsayer" and it looks like a killer performance from the video below. Hopefully this happens at other Mayhem dates as well, especially in Atlanta.

Then on Saturday he played a different set, which included guest appearances from Testament and Obituary. MORBID ANGEL IS IN THE STUDIO RECORDING A NEW ALBUM!

Morbid Angel have entered Mana Recording Studios with Erik Rutan to begin recording their ninth full-length album. This will be the band's first CD without longtime drummer Pedro "Pete" Sandoval, who recently underwent back surgery.

Behemoth just released a video for the making of the "Alas, The Lord Is Upon Me". The clip was produced and directed by Rafal Szermanowicz and Grupa 13, which previously helmed Behemoth's videos for "Ov Fire And The Void" and "At The Left Hand Ov God". PLAY SLAYER PINBALL ON THE IPAD AND IPHONE!

Stuart Dredge of Recombu.com reports that the developers of popular iPad pinball game Pinball HD have launched a reskinned version for SLAYER, with the full blessing of the band.

The game is 'inspired' by their new album, World Painted Blood, with several songs acting as the soundtrack. Singer Tom Araya also contributes a voiceover to the game, which is a Universal app - so is available for iPhone and iPad.

Okay, I never wanted an Iphone until now. Slayer Pinball sounds badass!

PAUL GRAY DIED OF ACCIDENTAL MORPHINE OVERDOSE

According to The Des Moines Register, Slipknot bass player Paul Gray died of an accidental overdose of morphine and fentanyl. Gray's body was discovered about 10:50 a.m. May 24 by a maintenance worker at TownePlace Suites in Urbandale, Iowa.

A hypodermic needle lay near the bed, and "all kinds of pills" surrounded Gray, who was hunched over in the corner of the room, according to a 911 call.

Polk County Medical Examiner Dr. Gregory Schmunk said today that it was two injected drugs — fentanyl is a synthetic form of morphine — that killed Gray. The pills did not contribute to his death, Schmunk said.

Ozzy Osbourne was the musical guest on last night's (June 15th) episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live“. Ozzy performed the new single, "Let Me Hear You Scream", and his classic "Shot In The Dark". Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, and Anthrax will play together for the first time in history tonight at the Sonisphere festival at Bemowo Airport in Warsaw, Poland. Check out the first photo of all the members of the four bands (minus SLAYER guitarist Jeff Hanneman) hanging out in a room together, apparently taken yesterday. This is just such a cool picture to see, and it's really great for metal music. A larger picture is below.

Kerry King on the show: "It's about fucking time this happened, and about time the fans finally get what they want. This is fucking awesome."

Scott Ian said: "People have been talking about these four bands playing together since 1984. That's twenty-six years of expectation!! And the thing is, I believe not only will we live up to the expectations, we will shatter them! No other four bands as influential as the four of us have ever done this. Imagine if THE BEATLES, STONES, THE WHO and ZEPPELIN had done shows? Or SABBATH, PRIEST, MAIDEN, MOTÖRHEAD? BEHEMOTH IS TOURING IN NOVEMBER WITH WATAIN!

Nergal, the almighty lead singer of Behemoth, was recently interviewed by NME TV in Poland. During the interview, Nergal revealed that BEHEMOTH will embark on a U.S. tour in November with the awesome Watain. How sick of a tour will that be! More dates and info will be posted once its announced. He also talks about getting the text that said Metallica wants you to open the Big Four show and maybe more later. Behemoth and Metallica is the greatest bill I've ever heard of in my lifetime. I hope Behemoth is opening for Metallica on the next tour run, because that'd be nuts.
